Lookie-lookie

The caption on this photo, from this month's Vogue Australia, caught my attention.

The article was showing the work of photographer Ari Seth Cohen, who was asked to shoot some of his favourite stylish older women wearing their seasonal picks coupled with their own pieces.  In the photo above, Tziporah Salamon pairs new season Chanel with her homemade culottes!

How many of you have dreamed of your own sewing appearing in Vogue magazine?

Awesome! If only I can be that stylish when I am an older woman!

She is intimidating-in a good way :-)

She looks great. Sometimes I think style takes guts, wish I could be that gutsy :)

Zipporah looks amazing. But it doesn't take guts to team your own designs with new season Chanel, it takes money. And sadly unless you team it with high end designer items our dyi style will not grace the pages of Vogue.

This caught my attention because Zipporah is my husband's favorite girl name. (Our "future" child names get very interesting!) I love seeing shoots of older women who are adventurous in their style.

Haha, how cool would that be! I have to say, those ladies all looked great but imo at least three of them look like they'd had a bit of "work" done.
