For my second pair of jeans, I watched Angela Wolf's craftsy course "Sewing Designer Jeans". I watched it all the way through. I then meant to follow along as I sewed my jeans, but my internet was down that day, so I had to go from memory.
I used denim that I had bought half price from Lincraft, and treated this as my second muslin, as after all my fussing about on the first pair, I wasn't certain where my final crotch shape ended up.
This pair will make its way to the op shop, but I am not upset, because I got to practice my top-stitching and distressing, which both got a lot better by the end of these. These are also my best belt carriers ever. (My daughter is reading over my shoulder now, and she is amazed that I would discard them as she thinks they look better than my other pairs...but looks versus ability to walk, and I will take walking every time.)

Walking is so overrated - they look great Katherine. E x
I would vote for walking too, but the top-stitching does look pretty good…
I really love the topstitching and particularly the colour... it looks so good. They don't look tight... you should just stand around looking good and direct things to happen around you.
Awesome top stitching. I made cocktail shorts once... I could only stand in then - no sitting!
They look good! But yes to walking.
He, he. The jeans look amazing, and I love the pop of the topstitching colour. Surely walking is an optional extra :) you should keep this pair for your fashion blogger lifestyle - wait! you actually have a normal life which includes movement, how radical, maybe they should be cocktail jeans like Anna's shorts
Shame you can't walk cause they look darn good. Don't ditch them yet, they might stretch after the first wash.
