I made this blouse as a birthday present for my Mum. I was able to deliver it in person, as we all met in Melbourne for the weekend. It is so long since I have been to a big city, that I had forgotton what it was like. I did a little fabric shopping, a lot of window shopping, tried on some expensive clothing (drooled over a Zimmermann dress) and also saw an exhibition of Pierre Cardin toiles from the sixties.
The pattern is McCall's 5337. It has an unusual butterfly wing sleeve design which I rather liked. The fabric is from the Amy Butler Daisy Chain collection. If you are looking for a stockist of Amy Butler fabric in Australia, I got excellent service from Calico&Ivy.
