So here it is, my first collection. A summer collection, just in time for winter. Lucky it is warm here most the year round. I was going to include another skirt, but could not find the fabric I wanted. I also wanted to include a hat, but now that my bedtime routine includes checking that my sugar plums have at least their toes covered by a blanket, I thought that I should start my winter sewing (I am also supposed to be writing assignments, not sewing).
I like this collection because of the colours and because it is pretty casual. I tend to get swayed by fashions that do not suit my lifestyle, but I think I will get a lot of wear out of these pieces. The only sad part is that my fabric stash has been depleted of all my favourite colours.

wow you collection came out wonderfully! You should be very proud.
I also agree with being tempted by fashion. I too have to come back to reality when sewing so that I actually use what I make :O)
Nice work! Your color scheme and style is pretty!
Wow! I love your collection. I love the colors and the styles. It all looks great.
What a great collection! Beautiful colors and fun, casual but feminine styles... :)
I must admit that my favorite are the yellow skirt & top - love the pocket details! :)
Congratulations! - you should be very proud - it looks great - I love the colours and styles you've chosen! Also sewing for your lifestyle is very smart... it is very easy to get carried awasy and make a bunch of clothes that look gorgeous but hang in the wardrobe because they are not what you really use :)
Beautiful collection - great colours, and lovely looks!
There are some wonderful pieces in that collection. The colours are so happy and warm. My absolutely fave is the citrus polka dot skirt.... So much so - that I have ordered in a japanese cotton spot in that very colour because it reminded me of it. So thankyou Katherine. It is all fabulous and I look forward to seeing the winter pieces.
What a fantastic collection. I love the idea of making pieces that fit with others. I'm going to try to do a mini-collection during May and June
