I made these Stylearc Erin woven culottes a while back. The fabric is a gorgeous, bouncy, textured melange fabric that I bought from Tessuti a while back. They are a real black, more like the middle photo.
Actually, this is a new silhouette for me and I have to make myself wear it and get used to it. My winter uniform is generally much daggier than this :)
I think that melange just means "mixture". I remember them using the word in the store when I bought the fabric. They couldn't tell me the composition, but it could be a poly / wool / something blend?
Nice! Love the pink scarf with it. Is that you winter wardrobe?

DeleteNice! I've been wanting culottes lately too!
ReplyDeleteI like the culottes quite a lot, but confess I’ve no idea what a melange fabric is. Another reason I love blogs.....always learning!
