I still have yet to find a bikini that looks right on me--they're usually too low--these might have some fun possibilities.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00404449004824638306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351864927910092883.post-50300504705015817702012-11-24T22:16:16.299-08:002012-11-24T22:16:16.299-08:00Very pretty bikinis. Apply elastic to top and bottom. I sewed the ruffles on with a zig-zag stitch. Turn over casing at each end. Feed tie through centre casings and strap through outer casings. katherine hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17314030133556269765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351864927910092883.post-23485664026036379952012-11-22T23:57:29.225-08:002012-11-22T23:57:29.225-08:00Oh I like these too - your swimwear is always so i...Oh I like these too - your swimwear is always so inspiring :) My daughter has been begging me for a bikini top like your first one, maybe I can use her as my test subject.Robynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01545965949294513334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351864927910092883.post-58316878498692971252012-11-22T16:43:03.198-08:002012-11-22T16:43:03.198-08:00Hello Summer Flies,

If the lining and / or the main fabric are slippery, I sometimes baste the two layers together before I apply elastic. I baste with a zig-zag stitch, so that you don't hear the basting stitches rip when the togs are stretched.katherine hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17314030133556269765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351864927910092883.post-26653985618354134242012-11-22T16:00:22.397-08:002012-11-22T16:00:22.397-08:00That fabric is so nice... you have really made lot...That fabric is so nice... you have really made lots of togs lately and you do such a professional job. They look great. You will no doubt need them up in Gove. I'm just going to start now a two pairs of training togs and lining them both... I've never done lining and have only made my son three pairs with part lining. Anyway if I don't start I won't get them done... I also bought a 2nd hand coverstitch machine (from Sydney that my niece is bringing up early Dec) so I will be looking back at your trials with yours with great interest.Summer Flieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17092393256871735567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351864927910092883.post-11720669691293843472012-11-22T14:35:00.077-08:002012-11-22T14:35:00.077-08:00Hello Kat,
