I replied to Summer's similar concerns above but I'll also add them here so you get the notification.

You can see the placement of the knot on the tied back view that Katherine made on the shop listing: https://shop.fehrtrade.com/products/knot-maste-yoga-set The tied back view is only intended to be worn open before and after your workout, and tied during your flow. When the top is made in the suggested light & drapey fabrics, the knot is really squishy and honestly not a problem for the lying on your back.

Based on tester feedback I made a lot of changes to the finished pattern, including a second top view which features a hem band with twists at the sides. Some people preferred this one to the tied back view and I actually did a yoga session wearing my samples of this view last night, coincidentally enough!Melissa Fehr Tradehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14734428215982288386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351864927910092883.post-74328555761568878822017-01-25T03:06:46.908-08:002017-01-25T03:06:46.908-08:00Hi Summer! They both have some interesting details. I'm with Summer Flies though - not sure that the top is ideal for yoga. I do yoga daily too, and all that volume in the inverts (headstand, shoulderstand, etc) would be impractical. Also, fussing around with a knot under your back when it comes to Savasana (lying pose, a pose done at the end of every practice session) isn't ideal. I do yoga nearly daily but I think the open back wouldn't be good for the inverted postures... or is that where the knot should be? Its too hot to wear them yet, but they will be terrific this winter.kbencohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00885068563358776147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351864927910092883.post-77703642746571141112017-01-21T20:47:18.389-08:002017-01-21T20:47:18.389-08:00I'm with you on those pant pockets, I love tho...I'm with you on those pant pockets, I love those pants! The sleeve detail is nice on the top, maybe another fabric will come along and want to be a better incarnation.BarbaraShowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07026317469719944260noreply@blogger.com
